Freshman Christian Devant (Winnebago, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending February 28, 2016. Devant recorded a trio of top-15 finishes for Rockford on Saturday at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Indoor Track and Field Championships.

The following students attending Rockford University were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2015 semester, earning at least a 3.5 GPA with no grades below "C" and having completed all requirements for the semester.

Junior forward Zach Wallace (Rockford, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending February 21, 2016. Wallace averaged a double-double for Rockford last week with 18 points and 12.5 rebounds per game.

Senior guard John O'Bryan (Richmond, Ky.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending February 14, 2016. O'Bryan exploded last week for Rockford averaging 26.5 points on 54.1% shooting including 56.3% from three-point range, while also adding 3.5 rebounds, 4 assists and 1.5 steals.

Senior guard John O'Bryan (Richmond, Ky.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending February 7, 2016. O'Bryan scored his 1,000th career point last week as he helped lead the Regents to a pair of NACC wins. The senior poured in 34 points, 6 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in a win over Dominican. He then added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 3 assists in Rockford's victory at Edgewood. For the week the senior averaged 24 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1 steal.

Junior guard Mallorie Getzelman (Bryon, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending January 31, 2016. Getzelman had another stellar week for the Regents shooting 46.2% from the floor while averaging 23 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. She also recorded her first career double-double last Wednesday against Concordia University Chicago when she poured in 27 points and grabbed 10 rebounds.

Wallace had a monster week for Rockford recording a pair of double-doubles. He opened with 18 points, 12 rebounds, 5 blocks, 2 steals and 1 assist in a win over Concordia Chicago. Wallace then carried Rockford with 26 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, and 2 blocks at Concordia Wisconsin. For the week he averaged 22 points on 64% shooting, 11.5 rebounds, 3.5 blocks, 2.0 assists and 1.0 steal.

Freshman Jamie Buechner (Island Lake, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending January 17, 2016. Buechner competed in both the 200 meter and 60 meter dashes on Saturday at the UW-Platteville Open. She broke the Rockford University school record in the preliminary round of the 60 meter dash with a time of 8.71 seconds before placing fifth in the finals with a time of 8.85 seconds. Buechner also finished eighth in the 200 meter crossing the finish line in 30.07.

Junior forward Zach Wallace (Rockford, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending January 10, 2016. Wallace helped lead Rockford to a perfect 2-0 record this past week.

Senior guard Michael Murray (Princeton, Ill.) was once again recognized for the spectacular season he is having as Murray earned two more individual honors one of which came at the national level. Monday evening Murray was selected as the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for the second time this season. Then early Tuesday morning he was voted to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week.

Junior guard Mallorie Getzelman (Byron, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending January 3, 2016. Getzelman led the Regents this past week averaging 17.5 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4 assists and 1.5 steals. She shot 45.5% from the floor and was a perfect 3-for-3 from beyond the arc. The junior opened with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 steal against Knox, and concluded the week with 15 points, 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals against Lakeland.

Rockford University senior guard John O'Bryan (Richmond, Ky.) was voted the Northern Athletics Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week on Monday afternoon. This is O'Bryan's second NACC Player of the Week award of his career and the second for the Regents this season.

The postseason awards continue to pile up for Rockford University senior defensive lineman Tremaine Berry (Ocala, Fla.). Last month Berry was named First Team All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and just recently earned First Team All-American honors from USA College Football. This is the second time he has been recognized by USA College Football this years as prior to the season he was named a Preseason First Team All-American.

Junior forward Zach Wallace (Rockford, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending December 13, 2015. Wallace shot 78.9% from the floor while averaging 20 points, 6.5 rebounds, 4 blocks and 1 assist in Rockford's two games last week. His best performance came against Concordia Wisconsin when he set career-highs in both points and rebounds. The junior tallied 35 points, 7 blocks, 7 rebounds and 1 assist against the Falcons.

Junior center Talayah Gordon Scott (Rockford, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending December 6, 2015. Gordon Scott had one of her best games of the season last Wednesday against one of the top teams in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. She recorded 10 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists for second double-double of the season. The junior also shot 57.1% from the floor (4-of-7) and was a perfect 2-for-2 at the free throw line.

A Rock Solid Regent is a student that truly exemplifies what it means to be Rock Solid. Rock Solid Regents are recognized for a variety of reasons, including for academic achievements, extracurricular involvement and campus leadership. Students are nominated by faculty and staff members that recognize that these students' contributions to Rockford University go above and beyond expectations.

Rockford University senior guard Michael Murray (Princeton, Ill.) has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Men's Basketball Player of the Week. This is the third NACC weekly award of his career but his first for basketball. Murray's other two NACC Player of the Week awards came in 2015 for baseball.

Senior guard Michael Murray (Princeton, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending November 22, 2015. Murray has recorded a double-double in each of Rockford's first 3 games leading the Regents to a 2-1 start. This past weekend he averaged 21.5 points, 12 rebounds, 2.5 assists, 1 steal and 1 block at the Pioneer Tip-Off Tournament. Murray shot 65.4% (17-of-26) from the floor in the two games and was named to the all-tournament team.

The Rockford University football team had six players earn postseason recognition from the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference when it announced its 2015 All-NACC Teams on Friday. Sophomore offensive lineman Alex Giannoni (Camden, Tenn.) was named NACC Honorable Mention.

Linebacker Michael Watson (Schaumburg, Ill.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending November 15, 2015. Watson capped off a very impressive season with a game-high 14 tackles in the Regents 26-7 win on Saturday. He finished the season with 96 total tackles breaking the previous school record of 95 set back in 2002. Watson also currently ranks second in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and 68th amongst all NCAA Division III student-athletes in total tackles.

Rockford University junior defensive back Dominique Campbell (Waterloo, Iowa) has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Defensive Player of the Week for his efforts on the field last Saturday. Campbell becomes the sixth different RU football player to earn a weekly award from the NACC this season, which is the most the Regents have ever received in a single year.

Senior defensive lineman Tremaine Berry (Ocala, Fla.) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending November 8, 2015. Tremaine continues to be a disruptive force in the center of the Rockford defense. The senior tallied 7 tackles including 5 solo tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss and 2 sacks. He also made his presence felt on special teams by blocking an extra point.
