The following students attending Rockford College were named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester, earning at least a 3.5 GPA with no grades below "C":

John McGreal has joined Rockford College as a First Year Admission Counselor. His responsibilities are to guide first year students through the admission process from their first inquiry and continuing to the first day they are in attendance at Rockford. He travels to high schools and college fairs in Northwestern Illinois and Wisconsin and works with students applying from the Western United States. He also serves as the Student Life Liaison for the Admission Office.

Local students participated in the Fall 2011 Performing Arts Senior Seminar at Rockford College on November 5th. During a Seminar students display the synthesis of the knowledge they have acquired from their course work in performing arts and other liberal arts classes. These productions must be centered on a single individual at the moment of decision or crises. Each student is responsible for the selection or creation of all material within his or her own performance. Scholarship Day Fall 2011 saw more than 60 scholarships presented to over 80 recipients. These are scholarships for which the college has a working relationship with the donor(s) or sponsoring organizations, or are named scholarships important to the legacy and history of Rockford College.
