Senior Genesis Cerrato (Las Vegas, Nev./Valley) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending March 2nd, 2014. Cerrato was the top performer on Saturday for the Regents at the NACC Indoor Track & Field Championships. The senior had an outstanding day recording 15 points, which is the most ever by an RU female athlete at the event.

The Rockford University men's basketball team had a pair of seniors recognized by the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference on Tuesday for their play on the court this season. Senior forward David Dixon (Bellwood, Ill./St. Joseph) was named First Team All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference and senior guard Scott Suchy (Genoa, Ill./Genoa-Kingston) was selected Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Honorable Mention.

Rockford University senior Lindsay Lengjak (Roscoe, Ill./Hononegah) was selected Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Honorable Mention Monday morning by the twelve NACC coaches. This is the first postseason NACC award that Lengjak has received since transferring to Rockford prior to the 2012-13 season.

Sophomore forward Diamond Williams (Carpentersville, Ill./Dundee Crown) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending February 23rd, 2014. Williams had her best game as a Regent in her team's final game of the season last Tuesday. She scored a season-high 12 points on an impressive 6-of-8 shooting off the bench. The sophomore also grabbed 6 rebounds.

Freshman forward Zach Wallace (Rockford, Ill./Belvidere) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending February 9th, 2014.

ROCKFORD, Ill. - Senior forward Lindsay Lengjak (Roscoe, Ill./Hononegah) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending February 2nd, 2014.

Senior Genesis Cerrato (Las Vegas, Nev./Valley) has been named Regent of the Week for the week ending January 19th, 2014. In Rockford's first indoor track & field meet of the season, Cerrato turned in the top performance of any Regent. The senior finished third in the 3000 meter race with a time of 11:51.05.

Rockford College's 159th Commencement Ceremony, held on Sunday, May 19, awarded degrees in Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Fine Arts, Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science in Management Studies, Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Arts in Teaching and Master of Business Administration to approximately 400 students.

John McGreal has joined Rockford College as a First Year Admission Counselor. His responsibilities are to guide first year students through the admission process from their first inquiry and continuing to the first day they are in attendance at Rockford. He travels to high schools and college fairs in Northwestern Illinois and Wisconsin and works with students applying from the Western United States. He also serves as the Student Life Liaison for the Admission Office.
