Shane Roberts inducted into Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society at Rockford University.

Shane Roberts of Roscoe, IL was one of several students recently inducted into the Sigma Beta Delta Honor Society at Rockford University. The honor society acknowledges outstanding academic achievements made by undergraduate and graduate business majors.

Sigma Beta Delta membership is the highest national recognition that business students can receive at a college or university. Eligibility for membership includes being in the upper 20 percent of junior, senior or master's level class, as well as an invitation by a faculty member. The honor society has a 200 year history dating back to the founding of Phi Beta Kappa in 1776 in Williamsburg, Virginia.

Inductees receive several benefits from joining Sigma Beta Delta. Among these benefits are lifetime recognition of outstanding academic achievements, lifetime contact through the Aspirations newsletter, as well as networking opportunities with current members.
