Cole Logemann Named Second Team All-NACC

2015 May 7

The Rockford University baseball team had four individuals honored by the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference on Thursday morning when it released its all-conference teams. Junior pitcher Michael Murray (Princeton, Ill.) highlighted the group with his First Team All-NACC selection. Fellow junior Cole Logemann (Lena, Ill.) along with senior Brian Wiest (Lake Zurich, Ill.) both earned Second Team All-NACC honors while freshman Adam O'Malley (Elk Grove, Ill.) earned a spot on the NACC All-Freshman Team. Rockford's four all-conference award recipients is the most for the Regents since the 2010 season when it had five All-NACC performers.

Cole Logemann was named all-conference for the second time in his collegiate career after being voted Second Team All-NACC. Logemann had another great season for Rockford and has established himself as one of the conference's premier power hitters. He led the NACC in home runs (7), finished second in runs batted in (48), was fourth in doubles (14) and slugging percentage (.578) and tied for fourth in triples (3). In addition to his power numbers, he was also a consistent bat in the middle of the Rockford lineup as he led the NACC in at bats (166) and was sixth in the conference in hits (55). During the season Logemann was also named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week and was the only player in the conference to twice be voted the NACC Position Player of the Week.
