Cole Logemann Named NACC Position Player of the Week

Junior third baseman Cole Logemann (Lena, Ill.) has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Position Player of the Week. It is the second NACC weekly award of his career and he becomes the first Rockford University baseball player to win the award this season. Logemann's first NACC Position Player of the Week honor came in the final week of last season, and he now has won the award in his first possible opportunity this season.

Logemann powered the Regents to a perfect 2-0 start to the season on Sunday with a pair of multi-hit performances. The junior blasted 3 home runs, drove in 7 runs and scored 4 more runs. For the week Logemann recorded a .400 batting average, .455 on-base percentage and a 1.300 slugging percentage.

The Rockford University baseball team continues its spring trip in Fort Myers, Fla. on Tuesday, March 10 with a pair of games. The Regents open with Haverford at 9 AM EST and then play Eastern Nazarene at 6 PM EST.
